Hi everyone --

Instead of Lana, this is actually the staff from PinupFiles writing on her behalf.

Normally we would have Lana write something here but we decided to do it for her not just because we have a great new video of Lana up today, but also because we have an unfortunate announcement to make and Lana is too shy to make this announcement for herself, so we thought we would do it for her.

First, the bad news: Lana has been diagnosed with cancer. The good news? It's thyroid cancer that has been diagnosed very early and is thus very treatable. It won't be easy and fortunately she does have medical insurance, but her insurance only covers so much and it looks like she's going to have to pay about $10,000 out of her own pocket to get the surgery she's going to need, and that's a lot for her to cover all by herself.

Now, Lana doesn't want to sound like she's begging or asking her fans for anything, so we're going to do it for her. She's an incredibly sweet person who is one of the most selfless people we know. She has dedicated her life and career outside of modeling to charity work and she continues to do that every day, so she's a good egg who deserves a lot better than this. She still plans to keep modeling and shooting new stuff for all of you fans out there, but she's going to have to get fully better in order to keep doing that the way she has been.

And that's why we have decided to help and why we're asking on her behalf for all of your help, whatever amount you can give. It may seem like glamour models earn a lot of money and maybe 15 years ago that was true, but in this day and age, modeling is more of a side job for many girls and Lana is no exception, so we hope as many of you as possible can find it in your hearts to give a few bucks to her GoFundMe page here:
